These Terms of Service govern the use of Practice AI, an AI-powered medical scribe software provided by Practice AI ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using the software, users agree to comply with these terms.
1. Scope of Service
Practice AI assists healthcare providers in transcribing clinical consultations into structured notes. The software is intended for use in New Zealand healthcare settings and is not a substitute for professional medical judgment.
2. User Responsibilities
Users must:
- Ensure patient consent is obtained prior to using the software.
- Use the software in accordance with applicable laws and professional standards.
- Review and verify AI-generated notes for accuracy.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of login credentials.
3. Limitations of Liability
We do not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of AI-generated content. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the software.
4. Acceptable Use
Users must not:
- Use the software for unlawful or unethical purposes.
- Attempt to reverse engineer, modify, or tamper with the software.
- Share access credentials with unauthorized individuals.
- Use the software to collect or process data without proper consent.
5. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the software at our discretion, including for violations of these Terms or applicable laws. Users may also terminate their use of the software at anytime.
6. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes arising from the use of the software shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of New Zealand courts.
